ONERUN

ONERUN raises funds and awareness for breast cancer research and programming in London, Ontario. By educating the public about breast cancer, ONERUN hopes to empower survivors, encourage fighters and honour loved ones.

ONE Survivor, ONE day, ONE hundred KMs

Theresa Carriere, a mother of four, fitness instructor, coach, runner and breast cancer survivor, was compelled to address the need for further breast cancer research and awareness in our community.

She created ONERUN, "ONE survivor, ONE day, ONE hundred KMs" which developed into a unique initiative fuelled by a dynamic organizing team and supported by a community of thousands.

Theresa has run 100 KMs three times from Sarina to London, Ontario to attract attention to the need for patient care, research and ultimately a cure to breast cancer. Along the way she has raised a total of over $580,000 and continues to inspire many people.

Run to the BBQ 5K

Good BBQ is a religious experience and so is running.  We’ve marinated the two and cooked up a saucy fun run that promises fitness, fun, food and good times with friends.  The first Run to the BBQ is a 5K early evening run that will celebrate the start of the summer season.  Follow your nose to the finish line which you will find at the Beer and BBQ Show, runners receive a complimentary admission to the event along with sample tickets, you’re going to have an ale of a good time so you must be 19+ to enjoy this course with your fellow runners.  Cold craft beers, brisket, sausage, and ribs all taste great on patios everywhere this summer, but none will compare to the experience of a 5K and friends at London’s hottest summer soiree.

Huron Country Playhouse: Footloose

One of the most explosive movie musicals in recent memory bursts onto the Grand Bend stage with exhilarating results.

A young rebel moves to a small middle-American town where dance is forbidden, and encourages all young people to defy the strict edict of the local pastor and call for a rock ‘n’ roll party.  In so doing, he brings healing to the heart of a town held back by the memory of tragedy.

Anchored by memorable 80s anthems “Holding Out For A Hero”, “Almost Paradise”, “Let’s Hear It For The Boy”, and the self-titled track, Footloose celebrates the wisdom of listening to young people, guiding them with warm hearts and open minds.
