Apple’s iPhone 5 Rumours/Apple Stock Down

Apple’s stock fell yesterday after it reported its iPhone sales that missed analysts’ projections. Apple only sold 26 million iPhones in the third quarter, shy of the 28.4 million predicted by analysts. **Is this the start of the decline of Apple (like RIM)? It’s been widely reported that Samsung’s sales are the reason behind Apple’s shortfall.

The next iPhone is potentially going to be announced in the second week of August and maybe set for Release to the public by the end of September. It’s been rumoured to have a bigger screen and a different connector/charger.

Commenting on YouTube Videos Changes

Google is trying to clean up the comments on YouTube. Now, if you try to comment on a video on YouTube - a window will pop up with the title "Start using your full name on YouTube," which will sign you in with your Google+ account. This option has been offered since June 29th and that users with a Google+ account will see the same thing if they try to upload a video. If you don't want to use your Google+ account, you can refuse -- but then you're taken to a second prompt, which asks "Are you sure?" Then, you must explain why you don't want to use your full name.

Google Search now also…does Math

Yesterday, Google released a new ability of its search engine. Before, when you typed in a mathematical equation into Google, the answer would be bolded on the top of the searches. Now, Google has gone one step beyond that. If you put a mathematical equation into Google, The answer appears in a calculator...that you can continue to use for all your wonderful number loving needs.
