My Vacation is a Stay-cation

Sorry for the delay in posting this - I try to post blog entries every Monday but as I'm on vacation this week, everything seems to off schedule a bit...

...and so far on my holidays I've done 'nothing'!

Oh - I cut the lawn, watered the flowers (from my rain barrel), walked the dog and ran with my running friends, but so far no trips to the beach, no long shopping trips (other than a 'stock up just in case' visit to the LCBO) and no long visits with friends or relatives.  Just lazing around - no one else in the household has this week off, so it's just me and Molly the wonder dog... sleeping late, taking a siesta or two, eating when we feel like it, sitting on the deck, enjoying great country on the radio!  (Hope it isn't too loud for the neighbours!)

Our kids are grown now (and no, I don't want to 'borrow' any, but thanks for offering!) so there's no ball games or soccer games scheduled... they can go to the beach/golf course/mall/downtown/movies without me driving them, so I'm off the hook there as well.

I could get used to this!

...although I'm back on Monday and will be filling-in for Dave and Jacquie for the next two weeks...while they do the same thing, although the word 'golf' may factor into Dave's vacation!
