Eden's Crush was formed after its members auditioned for the reality series Popstars, broadcasted by the WB Network. The vocal act's debut album, also titled
Popstars, was released by London-Sire Records in 2001, produced by
David Foster and
Matthew Gerrard, and featured a Spanish version of "1000 Words," plus a cover of
Sheila E.'s "Glamorous Life."
Eden's Crush became the first female group to debut at number one on the sales chart with their first single, "Get Over Yourself."
