City Councillors Request Motion Regarding Orgaworld Issues
The stench continues in the London neighbourhood surrounding an organic waste plant.
That odour has residents up in arms over the issue and they want the Orgaworld plant shut down.
Many people think it's up to the city to take action to clear the air and Councillor Harold Usher says it's up to the Ministry of Environment, but he along with fellow councillor Sandy White are presenting a request for a motion at today's planning and environment committee meeting.
The letter, submitted by Usher and fellow Councillor Sandy White, asks for a motion to be passed that city staff review and report back at a later date as to what steps the city could take to resolve the issue.
