A Forest teenager totalled their car Thursday night trying to avoid a cat.

Police say the 17 year old driver was driving in Plympton Township when he encountered the animal and swerved to miss it.

The vehicle hit a tree and rolled into a ditch.

The driver suffered minor injuries.
