The Alzheimer Society of Huron County's annual fundraiser "Coffee Break"

Coffee Break kicks off in September, and is hosted by many establishments all over Huron County; such as offices, churches & community groups. Coffee Break participants are simply asked to make a donation in exchange for a cup of coffee. With our Coffee Break fundraiser, the Alzheimer Society of Huron County is able to continue running support services and programs for people living in Huron County with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.

A Dodgeball Canada fundraiser to support Canadian Council for the Blind. This co-ed dodgeball tournament is comprised of teams with 6 to 10 participants in three divisions - to suit all levels of skill and age. Funds raised to to support CCB research and future initiatives.

Festival of Trees, presented by the Ontario Lung Association

FREE ADMISSION

Visit the unique, beautifully decorated tree displays, and support the Lung Association by purchasing raffle tickets ($10 each or 3 for $20) and place the tickets in the gift box adjacent to the item/tree you wish to win. The 14th Annual Winter Coat Drive for the Homeless

The 14th Annual Winter Coat Drive for the Homeless in London kicks off on December 1-31st.

Any winter coat can be dropped off at CCH high school or any of the fire halls in London during December.

Over the past 13 years we’ve facilitated the donations of over 20,000 coats to those most in need in London.

This year, the need is even greater.

Please consider the Gift of Warmth this December to those most in need in our city.

Furry Friends Fundraiser

 Our 1st annual Furry Friends Fundraiser, will be held on December 6th 2014 at Strokers Billiards in London Ontario. This event is being held to help raise funds for the London Humane Society. As you know, financial support is extremely important to The London Humane Society, as they rely SOLEY on donations to provide temporary shelter, medical treatment and care for many unwanted and cruelly treated animals in our community. The Furry Friends Fundraiser is receiving a huge amount of support, but we depend on the added support of our friends in the business community to help supply us with exciting auction items.

The “Christmas is for Kids” Santa Claus Parade will start at Canadian Tire at 2:00 pm, and travel West along Dundas Street, wrapping up at the Macmaster Body Shop (beside Crappy Joe’s).

They are looking for the “right” company to build their house. Due to being so cheap they choose the “wrong person” instead of the appropriate person who has the professional, knowledge, experience and qualifications but cost more. Will the dream house meet their expectations or will it crumble to the ground causing them to lose their dream of joy and peace forever because of a foolish choice?

CANADIAN COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION® ANNOUNCES LONDON, ONTARIO TO HOST COUNTRY MUSIC WEEK & 2016 CCMA AWARDS

 

The Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA®) is pleased to announce that London, Ontario has been selected to host the 39th edition of Country Music Week, September 8-11, 2016. This four-day music extravaganza will culminate with the Canadian Country Music Association Awards broadcast on Sunday, September 11.

Country Music Week will be held in London September 8-11, 2016 with the CCMA Awards Broadcast being held on Sunday, September 11. Before heading to London, Country Music Week 2014 and this year’s CCMA Awards will be celebrated in Edmonton, Alberta September 4-7. In 2015, Country Music Week and the CCMA Awards head to Halifax, Nova Scotia from September 10-13.
