Rhinestone Cowgirl

May 26th to June 6th Port Stanley Festival Theatre, Port Stanley, Ontario Box Office: 519-782-4353 Tickets: $17.50 -$33.50 www.portstanleytheatre.ca Thanks so much for your time! Cheers! Leisa Way (519-940-5510) www.leisaway.com

"A toe-tapping tribute to the country music legend” We invite you to join Leisa Way and The Wayward Wind for this sensational live concert - Rhinestone Cowgirl: A Tribute to Dolly Parton! Much loved for her Patsy Cline tribute concerts, Leisa Way literally erupts onto the stage in a flurry of feathers, fringe and bejewelled finery. This fabulous new concert is designed to leave audiences amazed, hugely entertained and clamouring for more. The one liners, and commentaries Way delivers throughout the Tribute (“You folks paid a lot to come here tonight, and frankly I need the money. It costs a lot to look this cheap!”) are entertaining and revealing. However, the real magic lies in hearing Way sing Dolly’s songs. Backed up by a terrifically talented band which includes Bruce Ley, Randall Kempf (Kenny Rogers), Sam Cino, Fred Smith, and Aaron Solomon (Porter Wagoner), Way performs hits from every era of Parton’s career, including; 9 to 5, I Will Always Love You, Jolene, Two Doors Down, Here You Come Again, Coat of Many Colours, Islands in the Stream and Why’d You Come In Here Looking Like That. When the band unplugs their instruments and joins Way downstage for an acoustic section, there is a timeless feeling about this musical moment that leaves the audience breathless. This is a show that draws audiences in for a great night of fun and entertainment. Don’t miss this spectacular tribute of the rags to riches “rhinestone” cowgirl, Dolly Parton! What a band! What a show! What a lady!

ONERUN raises funds and awareness for breast cancer research and programming in London, Ontario. By educating the public about breast cancer, ONERUN hopes to empower survivors, encourage fighters and honour loved ones.

ONE Survivor, ONE day, ONE hundred KMs

Theresa Carriere, a mother of four, fitness instructor, coach, runner and breast cancer survivor, was compelled to address the need for further breast cancer research and awareness in our community.

She created ONERUN, "ONE survivor, ONE day, ONE hundred KMs" which developed into a unique initiative fuelled by a dynamic organizing team and supported by a community of thousands.

Theresa has run 100 KMs three times from Sarina to London, Ontario to attract attention to the need for patient care, research and ultimately a cure to breast cancer. Along the way she has raised a total of over $580,000 and continues to inspire many people.

Huron Country Playhouse: Footloose

One of the most explosive movie musicals in recent memory bursts onto the Grand Bend stage with exhilarating results.

A young rebel moves to a small middle-American town where dance is forbidden, and encourages all young people to defy the strict edict of the local pastor and call for a rock ‘n’ roll party.  In so doing, he brings healing to the heart of a town held back by the memory of tragedy.

Anchored by memorable 80s anthems “Holding Out For A Hero”, “Almost Paradise”, “Let’s Hear It For The Boy”, and the self-titled track, Footloose celebrates the wisdom of listening to young people, guiding them with warm hearts and open minds.
