1st Annual Co-ed Soccer Tournament Fundraiser

On July 11, 2015, Turf League Sports will be hosting it's first annual co-ed soccer tournament fundraiser in Guelph, Ontario at the University of Guelph - Soccer Complex.
There are two goals of this fundraiser. As TLS is non-for-profit, the league only makes enough to support itself. In order to keep growing the league, we need to fundraise some capital so that we can build a fund to purchase our own fields and expand our offerings in the region. To raise funds for a "GoFundMe' type campaign. There are a lot of people out there that need help in saving their pets, surgury for family members, etc. that they otherwise cannot afford on their own. TLS would like to donate 50% of the tournament proceeds to one of these causes as chosen by our partipicants.
All teams will be asked to submit a "GoFundMe" type cause prior to the tournament beginning. The TLS staff will sift through the submissions and select 5 causes for the participants to vote on. On choosing the winner, TLS will donate 50% of the tournament proceeds to helping that cause reach it's fundraising goals.

Cost: $300/Team or $25/Person (Max 12 Individuals/Team)
Format: 8 vs 8 (4 Guys, 3 Girls, 1 Goalie)

We’ve come a long way ladies!  One day at a time we work our magic as mothers and mentors, bosses and builders, lovers and leaders and one step at a time you will run this race and take pride in every stride. Women run the world in offices, at the wheel, at home, in politics, at desks, as creators and in service to others and now it’s time to Run London ladies.

Racing through the District and out on to the streets of the city you will feel the layers of responsibility we carry, in every role we hold, start to fall away leaving you with the simple joy that running provides.  Enjoy socializing with a community of female runners in the city, participate in a local event and challenge your running buddies to improve their physical condition and/or hit their best time at Women Run London.
